Introducing the act of service to my students. I will look for more areas where service is needed around my school community and get my students involve in helping out. Also the importance of parents…The part that talks knowing our students background and understanding how it affects their daily behavior and attitude.

I learned that every child has a purpose already established at creation. My job as an educator is to help them complete the redemption cycle.
My purpose is to be a Christian educator. Every training and certification I participate in must reflect and reinforce this truth.

This course has significantly influenced my approach to teaching. Two key takeaways that will reshape my classroom practices are the importance of integrating a Christian Philosophy of Education into every aspect of my curriculum and the necessity of preparing my students for the challenges and deceptions they will encounter in this fallen world. I aim to create interactive lessons that engage with God’s Word and include activities that encourage students to reflect on their learning and think critically. Furthermore, I will be more intentional about addressing the difficulties and hardships that students may face, using biblical examples and principles to provide guidance.

I would like to change my approach to increasing discipleship among my students. I think finding an active way for them to be involved in missionary work, on a small/local scale, will help them understand the importance of this type of work. I also like the idea of processing activities to revisit and reflect on past lessons.

I’m definitely going to use processing activities in and outside of class to help my students discover the truth on their own.
