I will be sharing ideas and resources on how to ensure that our curriculum in all subject areas are aligned with the word of God. Seek opportunities to grow personally and professionally. Continue to pray about the challenges that we face and christain schools and the world.

My philosophy matters and that I need to make sure that it is rooted in a biblical worldview.

One of the things I will strive to do more frequently is share portions of my story. I have not always been in Education, so sharing how God moved me into teaching out of vocational ministry is part of showing His glory and goodness. I will also look at changes as opportunities. Schools are constantly changing and you can view that as a positive or a negative, a drawback or opportunity. I will do a better job of viewing those changes as opportunities.

I need to be more mindful of my student’s parents. I should be more constant in providing information about their student. Also, I would like to be more mindful in applying my christian life throughout my teaching. Not only during Easter and Christmas time.

I have learned that I am the living breathing philosophy for many of my students to see, walking out faith in God. I want to use this opportunity to be the best example of that philosophy that I can be. I want to see my students as little disciples and love them that way as well. Thank you for offering this course and for setting it up in a way that was convenient for me to do according to my own schedule. I have been blessed by this course!
