Our textbooks frequently quote scripture so it gives us several opportunities each day to turn to the Bible during our lessons.

When I want to introduce my students to practical lesson, I always use Prov. 4:13 to integrate biblical principles. After much deliberations, I use to conclude with this phrase “Following instructions diligently, lead to Distinction” This improves the sense of students taking responsibility with delightsome obedient.

I recently had to teach a class on how to find reliable sources for research. I incorporated how the Bible is truth and how God is asking us to always be on the lookout for truth. Wisdom comes from God and we have to use that wisdom to help us discern which sources we can rely on for our research. The training went great.

When teaching the age of Revolution, I juxtapose the notion of resisting a King like Saul, yet being told to respect earthly authorities such as, “Render unto Caesar.” I try to have students look into those concepts and determine how, if they were in that situation, would demonstrate the life of a believer. That helps scholars.

I embed biblical principles in the music I choose to play for our ensembles. This reflects biblical principles about how our worship can be expressed as we play instruments. The principle of doing all things for His glory is embedded through every lesson.
