I had my Mother in-law attack the faith, even though she is a Catholic. Every time we see her she says things like “They think different then us.” It is really sad.

In college I was required to take a Christian Philosophy class- taught by a non-Messianic Jewish Rabbi. He was very strong on the Torah and rejected the revelation of 42 generations of prophecy concerning Jesus Christ. Knowing his method/ theory of educating, through prayer, I was able to stay true to my faith and walk in peace with him to agree to disagree with his idea that Jesus could not be the Messiah because of His “discrediting lineage.”

While I was studying in University there were some Muslim students who would confront my belief in the word but throughout their confrontation I stayed calm and and spoke bible verses back to them until they had nothing else to say.

There were times when people looked down on me. Because I stood on the truth. It was a challenging time, it pools me to the place of prayer, and God who reveals the truth always brings it to pass.

When I was in college, some on was trying to tell me this is “how you need to be a Christian.” It was not how I was raised, taught, or loved by in my community growing up. I called my pastor and close friends that I trusted to make sure my faith is strong and I have support. It helped a lot!
