Sometimes people say they are Christians but act as if they are mad at God. What are some things you have observed that have caused you to be mad at God?

To trust that I am being obedient to God’s calling by making huge changes in the life of my family and then experiencing disappointment, hardship and more unexpected change as a result.

I have not ever been mad at God. I know that everything works out according to His purpose. If His purpose includes hardships in my life, it is not that he does not care for me. Plus, I get to spend eternity with Him, so when I am in a valley I just remember that my time here on Earth is temporary and short when compared to the infinite amount of time that I will be with Him happily in heaven. For example, when losing a family member I think of all of the reasons they could be departed. Maybe they’d already fulfilled His plan, and he’s ready for them in heaven. Maybe other people needed their organs, and that was His plan. Maybe something dreadful would have happened to them in their future if they remained on Earth, so He took them early. Maybe he was teaching medical professionals a lesson with the loss of this person… there are so many possibilities, and since we don’t know, I just choose to trust in Him and know that His ways are perfect, and He is NOT trying to hurt me!

Like David, when I cry out to God it seems as if he doesn’t hear me sometimes, a lot of times. When I need healing it seemed so far away our touch our Direction our guidance sometimes you just seem so silent no.

I don’t think I have been mad at God for anything in my life, but have been a little miffed when I see what is being done to those around me and cannot fuly fathom the reasons why

I have been angry in the past, expecting God to give me something I desperately wanted and thought I deserved. HE did not give it to me, and I was very confused, distraught, and hurt. I got angry.
