SoulCare is not a technique or formula and cannot be provided without the help of and a genuine relationship with God’s Holy Spirit.

Definitely agree. The only way for a person to move towards their calling by God as an individual is to move towards Him. This will never happen with good technique, and will only happen through relationship. We can genuinely relate to others and come alongside in step wth them and have that better vision for their lives, all through the work of the Spirit. The start and end and everything in between must be of the Spirit, for He is the only one who can bring about the better hope.

I think one technique that may work for one person may not work for another.
There is no one technique that can possibly address everyone’s issues.
But genuine relating allows us to be used by God’s Spirit to influence another in the direction that the Spirit desires, to be a vessel, and also show the love that God has shown us, as in 2 Corinthians 1:4.
But it will require a level of maturity and spirituality from us. -
SouCare is about relating. It’s a Spirit-led experience that leads to a greater appetite for God despite anything else that is happening or not happening. We can draw nearer to Him. The disease may or may not be cured. Soulcare is about relationship, intimacy, vision, uncovering uncorrupted desire for God above all. It’s not solutions, it’s a relationship.

I agree. This course is helping me to see the importance of a “real” relationship. The key to SoulCare is Interacting so that the person knows I am curious and care about their interior world. More importantly, that I desire the spirit to lead me so they may draw closer to God.
