    Adoration – Take praise away
Confession – No longer admitting our sins
Thanksgiving – No longer thanking God
Supplication – No longer asking God

    – Basically we would not be following the examples from the Bible

if adoration is removed from my prayers, prayer will lose its focus and power. since adoration is about remembering the worth of Christ.

First of all, I have always given thanks in my prayers and worshiped his name in my prayers so in a way I was already doing that. However, if I removed it, it would almost feel like a selfish spoiled child only asking my parent for something but never realizing that it is the parent who is providing and being grateful to that parent. I think it makes sense that naturally, you want to praise and worship God knowing that it is God and having fear for Him, but also because you remember where you came from and how hard you worked to get yourself out of that place. Still, you know in your heart the only way it was possible to get out of that old place WAS because of God and literally no other reason. I think I listen to God but I do not as much as I think I do or would like to, I listen to my own flesh and heart and do my will and I am so sick of that. I have to give him all the honor, glory, and praise because He is the only reason I am in a better place today.
