The ACTS is like a pattern that we can follow to approach God holistically. Each has a crucial role, so we can address God in all aspects. However, we as humans are imperfect beings and bound for shortcomings. There may be a time when we forget and overlook things as we talk to God. But the good thing about Christianity is that it is not about legalism but about what Jesus did on the cross, where we experienced His saving grace, and how His transforming grace molds us each day.

I think adoration is one of the keys to my prayer life. Without being able to appreciate God for what he has done, I believe this would cause void in my alone time with God.

If any one of the elements were removed from this prayer method, God will still hear us but this method would be incomplete. While I find ACTS helpful (I knew about this method prior), I use it more when I’m “speechless” vs when I’m just talking with God as a friend. I think ACTS is good but I wouldn’t rely wholly on it for praying.

I think in removing any of these aspects from prayer, we miss out on that aspect of knowing God

There would be no genuine relationship with God. We would give him the honor and respect God deserves as our Father in Heaven. Nor be thankful for how he provides and guides us through adversities. His provision
