If Adoration was removed, we would not remind ourselves Who we are speaking with, and the Power available through Him.
If confession was removed and sin is present and unconfessed, God would not hear our prayers because our fellowship would be blocked.
If thanksgiving was removed, we would be disobeying God who wants us to be thankful in all things and we need to be reminded that all good and perfect gifts come down from Him (James 1).
If supplication was removed, we would not be loving others as we are commanded and we would not show a desire to grow in our own spiritual life by examining our lives and what we need to ask God for.

Removing adoration from ACTS is removing God from your devotions. I like the structure of prayer using ACTS.

Removing adoration from ACTS is more like removing God from your devotions. Your devotions would be unfruitful. When you adore God, tell Him how great He is, He will bless us.

The ACTS method of prayer is the best. If any is missing, it’s like setting up a structure with a missing pillar. You may still have the structure but it’s definitely not perfect.
