I agree with this statement. If you are not a believer than you do not understand what true wisdom is to begin with. You rely on yourself and how wise you think you are and that will eventually fail you. When, as a believer, you understand that wisdom comes from God, you can then begin to able to love others as they are to be loved.

Yes, I agree with this statement. God is love. He demonstrated his love for us. He sent his son for us. Philosophy is the love of wisdom. When we are in Christ, we are a new creation and we seek wisdom from God because he is our source of wisdom.

Yes, I agree. Without faith it is impossible to love or to believe in God who created wisdom. So without having the Spirit of God living in us, we can not truly love wisdom.

I would agree. To be follow God, we must grow in Him. As we grow closer, we learn, learning brings wisdom. After we gain wisdom, it is our responsibility to share that wisdom with others which is sharing the love of God to those around us.

I concur with the lecturer. As Scripture identifies “the fear of the Lord as the beginning of wisdom”, then it becomes apparent that it is with Him that wisdom first resides. Without a sound belief in the LORD (which stems from being born again), it would appear that an individual cannot sincerely love and adhere to this same wisdom “of the LORD”. To “follow Him” as His disciples would require pursuing and committing to this same wisdom (emanating from Him alone), contrary to what is often very familiar, commonplace and limited to our own selves. It is this form of wisdom which reveals principles, instruction, counsel, and directional changes for life which can only be found within the divine and sovereign nature.
