By the definition of “philosophy” and the origin of the word, Yes! Emphatically so, searching the Word to Love the Wisdom only He can provide. To truly seek Knowledge and Wisdom!!! Not to glorify self with information and understanding, but to truly know, seek, love, understand and grow in the wisdom of our Savior! How cool is that?

I appreciated the link drawn between philosophy as the love of wisdom, and the fear of the Lord as the beginning of wisdom. There are plenty of things that stand in as wisdom, but true wisdom begins with knowing and revering the Lord.

Yes, I absolutely agree because God is the author of wisdom because He created all things. We live in a world and a culture that would say the exact opposite because the enemy wants to confuse us and draw us away from God. This is why it is imperative that we teach truth to our children, God’s truth so that they can recognize the lies of the world and and stand firm on their beliefs that are rooted in God’s creation, plan and purpose for their lives.

I agree. Proverbs 9:10 states that “the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.” By fearing the Lord, I view God with holy reverence and desire to honor Him in all that I do. This is one way to love the Lord, growing in wisdom and knowlege.

I agree, being believer means believing and accepting things that may not fully make sense to you and figuring out the truth behind them faithfully.
