I believe that when one accepts Christ as Savior, and the Holy Spirit enters, that person becomes a partake of communion with Creator-God. That sweet place of nestling in with our Savior, banking on the illumination particularly of Scripture but not discounting other knowledge, we have an advantage over the lost. It’s almost as though we have an “in” with the God Who Knows It All, so the more we know Him, the better we understand everything in the world that He has made. To love Him is to love learning, to love wisdom. This communion of learning and understanding is part of why we have been formed. Some of us by nature are insatiably curious; God made us this way. Some have an incredible capacity for learning and none of us will ever reach satiation. God made us this way.
Yes, only a believer can truly love wisdom as God created us to love. Those without a relationship with God cannot embrace the love of learning, including the learning of Him, in the same way believers can.

I agree, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Those who do not follow God, follow after hollow and deceptive philosophies. Romans 12 tells us not to conform the the pattern of this world but be renewed by the transforming of your mind, then you will know God’s perfect and pleasing will. Those who follow Christ will love true wisdom as created by God because they love God.

Using the information that the lecturer gave in her video, I would agree with the concept that only a believer can truly love wisdom the way God designed us to love wisdom. I believe that you need to have a strong relationship with the Lord, because when we love the Lord we want to know more about Him and as His creation. The stronger that you love the Lord the more you desire His wisdom. I believe that a non christian can desire wisdom, but not God’s wisdom. The world can love wisdom, but Christians will always have a different philosophy and it will never fully line up with the world’s philosophy.

I would agree. Wisdom is truly only found through God and within the word of God. Over the last decade I’ve realized that when asking for wisdom it truly only is received from God and for his children. Sometimes our society views wisdom based on how much someone makes or social choices someone decides on. But this is not wisdom. Wisdom is rooted within faith and derived from the one who created us.

Yes, I agree because God gave us wisdom to share with others. I believe God wanted me to be an educator to share my knowledge but most of all, He wants me to share love, kindness, values and the word of God. As the lecturer shared, when she remembered her 6th grade year, she recalls the environment, the experiences, the love and her teacher’s kindness.
