I agree with the Lecturer. God’s word says that we should seek the wisdom that is from above.

I agree with the lecturer. Only through God can we gain real and authentic wisdom. Since he made us, he is the perfect one to equip us.

1. Can an unbeliever love wisdom?
I agree that only a believer can truly love wisdom, because God is love. To love wisdom and gain true wisdom a person must know and obey God, and one can only do this as a born again Christian. A born again Christian will fear God and then be given the blessing of knowing God and therefore gaining wisdom. An unbeliever seeks knowledge of the natural world but is lacking the wisdom that only God can him. -
I agree with the lecturer. Only through Him can we experience real wisdom, discernment ,and love. Since he is our creator, he is the perfect one to equip us.

As a believer, I agree with the lecturer because if philosophy itself is to love wisdom, and as Genesis 1:26-27 states, God created us in His image, according to His likeness, humanity may only love wisdom through a relationship that conforms us to similitude with God, whose truth becomes the bedrock of the believer’s life. However, unbelievers are likely to argue that wisdom is a universal concept outside Christianity. Non-theistic philosophers love wisdom, but believers hold fast to the distinction between their earthly (worldly) and heavenly wisdom since worldly wisdom despises and rejects Christ.
