I agree. You cannot love the things of God without knowing who God is.

I’m still trying to wrap my mind around Dr. Black’s integration of love in the formula, but I love her statement that we can’t love philosophy without acknowledging God in the equation since the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. If we truly love wisdom, we have to be willing to seek it where it is found. How ironic that so many who profess to love wisdom reject the very place where it can be found, inventing their own sophisticated, but ultimately specious, versions of “truth.”

I agree. Only a believer can know truly know God, not just about Him but know Him.

I agree with this quote. We are God’s creation. All wisdom comes from Him.

The Bible says fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Because if this, the quote is true. Only a believe is truly able to love wisdom because they fear the Lord.
