It is the foundation of the entire Scriptures and it especially the foundation of the New Testament as it prophecies about the events of the NT. It shows where God’s grace started and how He created all things at first and gave us the appropriate way we should live and act.

I’m a rebellious person that needed God to reach out to me in love. The OT shows me all that He has saved me from and what He has done to reach me.

this is the core of who God is; God is love, and out of His love He reaches out to even us. this is significant because we are the recipients of His love, we need to know what this means and what it looks like to receive all He offers us

Because God is always there to forgive us and he had a plan from the beginning to save our souls.

God used men to write the Bible, the Word of God, so we could get to know Him, understand what He is like, His redemption plan to save humanity from the penalty of sin. God has pronounced that the penalty of sin is spiritual death and separation from God in a place of judgement called “hell”
