God love us is so important because without His love there would be zero meaning to living.

It is significant because, as believers, we are rebellious at times, and yet God still loves us.

Old Testament story is about God’s plan to rebuild the relationship between Himself and the people He created to love and to love Him. This is crucial to the gospel story of Christ and His plan of redemption for all of humanity.

It shows us God’s character and nature, full of love and compassion but also full of righteousness. We can clearly see God’s redemptive plan that has been put in place and that it’s His plan, His actions, His works that bring us into salvation.
