God reaching out shows God’s commitment to creating a relationship between him and his creation. He will go the extra mile to train us up and ensure we make the proper decisions leading us to our forever home with Christ.

God reaching out in love to a rebellious people is significant because he wants His people to be RIGHT! in thought, word, and deed because on the other hand, He is always present to set us on the right track knowing that the Devil goes about seeking whom he may control.

God gave to give us the gift of free will because he wants us to choose to have an intimate relationship with him. God also knows everything about what will happen and still has been patient with us sinners so we have the chance the repent and turn from our sin. God is God. Our human feeble minds will not comprehend it but since we are made in God’s image, he continually loves us.

I believe the teachings of the Old Testament are as relevant today, as they were for the people of the time.
It shows people in defiance of God and His teachings and His redemptive love for them.
Does it not show us exactly how we are behaving? The lessons and teachings are there for us to learn from.
If we read and learn from the Old Testament scripture, we can then live by it, and be equipped to do good works. -
God is a relational God and wants us with him. We are all sinner and rebel but God is always there ready to accept us back to him.
