The purpose of this course is to give ourselves a flow of how the Old Testament fits together. What might be a benefit that would result from learning this?

To know who is this God who loves us so much, a God that is worth worshipping and how to live a life that glorify Him. Truly, I am amazed that God took all the troubles upon Himself to save humankind.

The Old Testament is not chronological. This course gives the timeline of the different books and in this aid, we understand how God develops the information to give us an understanding of the people, places, and events. Thereby, we are instructed as to the consequences of obedience and disobedience.

We would have a better understanding and knowledge of who God is and His plans for us.

The understanding will give those who study an opportunity to pull the time before Christ, the time of Christ, and our current situations together to better understand our place in HIs plan.

Simply put, to give us a smoother and better understanding of the Bible, and how the Old Testament applies to our lives today as well as those in OT Times, and to help us live a righteous life in God’s eyes.
