The purpose of this course is to give ourselves a flow of how the Old Testament fits together. What might be a benefit that would result from learning this?

Also without being able to understand how it comes together we wouldn’t be able to fully understand the bible so the purpose of this course is very helpful

Since the old testament is so big it can be confusing so being able to learn how it all comes together will help us to be able to understand it better.

It provides us a template for how to read, study, understand, and apply the teachings we learn to our lives.

For many, it is easier to remember if there is continuity (flow) . Continuity or pieces fitting together is a practical tool for learning.

God does nothing by accident, He is always intentional. The thing is, we His children often do not see things from His perspective (as best we can by grace through faith that is). Better understanding the flow of how the Old Testament fits together can greatly benefit how we relate to His heart and help us to better understand His plan, not just for all people but for our individual lives.
