I think this overview improves my understanding of the connections between the old and New Testament as well as the connections within the New Testament. I think it gives a clearer understanding of purpose and perspective of the writers to bring to more in-depth studies.

A better understanding of how the pieces of the ‘puzzle’ fit together both in the New Testament and between the Old and New Testament. I like to learn beyond the ‘story’ to see connections I may have missed in the past by focusing on events or individuals. This overview will give me an improved perspective for further studies.
