The purpose of this FastTrax course is to give ourselves a flow of how the New Testament fits together. What might be a benefit that would result from learning this?

One benefit is I am able to make strong connections between the New and Old Testaments, which they will be learning next year.

It will give more knowledge and understanding for both Old Testament and New Testament.

Considering that the New Testament was written by several authors, to several different groups of people, and that each book has its own identity and message, it is tempting to look at them individually and miss the way that they all work together to tell the greatest love story of all time. God inspired each of the books to tell a different part of this story, but they work together as a complete unit. We often study one book at a time, and it is easy to compartmentalize the message of each book, but this course shows how they all work together.

Understanding the flow will make it easier to teach the message to others.

We can see the whole picture of who Christ is and why he came. If we didn’t learn the flow of the New Testament, it would be like looking at a puzzle that had not been completed. You could see the pieces but you couldn’t see the beauty of it until it was put together.
