Buddhism has influenced culture, family customs, and religious prejudices, creating a huge obstacle to our god-following community.

I am unaware of what affect other religions have had on my community, but I can say that people from other religions have moved into my community since I was a child, and their culture has become visible. many have become store owners and restraunts have been started opening up a new culinary cuisine. many of these people have kept their religious beliefs to themselves and are trying to make a life in this community

Other religions within our community consist mostly of variations of Christianity, including Catholocism, Amish, and Mennonite. These religions tend to be very conservative and have strict rules for “leaving others out”of their particular faith. They can be very hurtful toward to others who have a different faith or who follow Christ in a different way.

I live in a fairly small community, but to the best of my knowledge there have been no conflicts here due to an increasingly diverse religious community. There are many Christian churches here as well as two Mormon temples, one mosque, and a Buddhist worship center. Everyone coexists peacefully.

There are many different religions represented in my community. People are free to worship in their desired religion and we all just live as a community. I have seen no significant positive or negative affects based on religion.
