What affect have other religions had on your community?

My community is multi-religious and other religions impact it a lot for the better with their charitable works and moral teaching.

My family was strong rooted in Catholic and Christianity, however with fast growing of Mormonism (LDS) is affecting on my community but it taught me many things, it is all about building respect and be willing to agree to disagree without harming each other. My mother and stepdad plus my stepdad’s families are deeply rooted in LDS belief, at first it was wrecking emotional for me to see my mother converted her Catholic to LDS faith but at same time, I realized it don’t make her worst, it made her better and happy person. I knew from my heart, LDS teaching are at conflict with my Christianity belief at same time what make me happy we do share one in common is putting Jesus as central in their faith belief.

The affect of other religions have on our community, it makes us realize that there are other religions to be able to learn, and have more of an open mind, as to why others believe in there religions. We can learn from peoples cultures and religions. We should be respectful of other religions.

It bring fore the general practices at work and my coummunity that we have to learn to be inclusive and embrace the diversity among everyone.

There has been a shift in demographics in my community to the point where Christianity is a not the dominant religion in the area in comparison to the various other nationalities and the religions that they have brought with them.
