What are one or two practices you’d like to implement that would allow you to demonstrate your care for and commitment to your students? If you already have practices in place, what are they?

I think one practice that is encouraging to my students, that I already have in place, is a very hands on learning classroom. I could implement this better across the subject areas, but I’ve done a good job overall with the invested learning. Something I’d like to do better is praying for each student strategically and encouraging them one on one, especially in regards to situations and circumstances out side of the classroom.

First, I would like to be better at Biblical integration. As our students souls are one of our most important concerns, I could do better at this. Second, developing a closer personal relationship with my problems kids is importatn.

I see all the elementary students once a cycle. I like to find a student in each course who has problems sitting still, getting along with others or struggles with learning and focus on giving them extra encouragement and attention throughout the year.
