What are one or two practices you’d like to implement that would allow you to demonstrate your care for and commitment to your students? If you already have practices in place, what are they?

Tell them when they can do better and help build the anticipation for it to happen. I already do many things.

I take prayer request and I make sure I spend time with each student asking them about their likes, dislikes, and what they find enjoyable. I do need to be a little more open to field trips.

I would like to implement a monthly check in with each student to see how they are meeting their academic and social goals.

These are some of the practices I do in my course. I do prayers request, I get to know the student by allowing them time to share feeling and emotions, I encourage them to take the extra credit on tests and I make sure no student is left behind.

A couple of ways we could practice care and commitment for students would be to pray for students and to invest in students. We can lift up their lives/requests to the Lord and also go the extra mile for our students.
