I think Pascal’s explanation is one so simple that it is often overlooked as we are sometimes struggling to defend or even explain our faith to others. The deposed royalty argument that we are made in his image, fallen and can be redeemed explains human behavior both the “good and the bad.” Pascal says that we can be so much but by His grace can be who we are intended but not if we don’t acknowledge we need him and to let go of our pride.
