I’ve heard some people say that if God existed, then why does he allow bad things to happen to good people? I’ve also heard that if God existed there wouldn’t be so much evil in the world. My response to the former is that God gives us free will so when we chose to do wrong, then God allows free will to reign. But I’ve also heard and know about divine intervention. For example, a person who is shot once dies while a person who is shot 9 times survives. What explains that?
A popular one is that the Bible was written by man and therefore God does not exist because man made him u him out. I believed the Bible with my whole heart and understand that it is the inspired Word of God. But one of my limitations to responding to this particular piece of evidence is my limited knowledge about the origin of the Bible.

Sometimes when I talk about the goodness of God and that I love God some people ignore me.

As we look around the times we are living, people assume that God has allowed all the wickedness of this world to happen, death, sickness, diseases, divorce, abuse of any kind.
Therefore, if God really existed, these things would not happen. -
If God exists, why doesn’t He intervene to deal with hunger, or stop violence, or homelessness?
