As such, The Old Testament helps us to know God through factual knowledge, personal knowledge (through the experiences of others who walked with Him), and practical knowledge, by instructing us on how to live.

The Old Testament is a “Treasure House of Wealth”. It provides a foundation for the whole Bible and tells us about God and His nature and Character. It tells us about Jesus Christ and His purpose for coming and puts ministry into focus. It provides a foundation for faith in Christ and shows us how the Old and New Testaments tie together.
