Sometimes I commit it to God in prayer. I remind myself through verses like Philippians 4:6-7 to claim the peace of God which passes all understanding. This is usually helpful.
Admittedly there were times when I simply procrastinated and tried not to think about it nor to make any decisions regarding it. That is usually not helpful. It only makes the worry grow.

I often write things down that I’m worrying about or speak them out loud to someone I trust. This often helps me because it brings them into the light instead of the depths of my mind/heart- and because of this change, I can process it more, admit to it, and let go of it easier.

I worry about things too much. Even when my problems have been resolved I start to worry about the next circumstance before it fully develops into maturity. I would love to learn serenity: Lord, please grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change and the courage to change the things that I can. Grant me the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time enjoying one moment at a time and accepting hardship as a pathway to peace. Taking as Christ did, this simple world for what it is and not for what I wish it to be. Trusting that God will make all things right according to His will. That I may be reasonably happy in this life and internally happy with my God in the next life. Sometimes this old-time prayer helps me and other times I chant a peace prayer. The chanting of the peace prayer does help.

Praying, reading my Bible, and surrendering my worry to God has helped me learn to trust Him more.

Continue to remind myself that God knows the plan and He will never leave me. I must remember to pray!
