I look forward to my students many questions. It is a great opportunity to direct them to the truth in the Holy Scriptures. I have posters around my room where I have written key, important scripture. It’s nice to be able to point to a verse when needed. I also love that those sacred words are there for my students to see when they are in my classroom.

We can continually look for ways to incorporate scripture into our lessons and daily routines in the classroom. We need to make sure that students are always led to scripture.

The fact that it is important who teaches our children is huge for parents who chose christian schools over public schools. Where I live in a rural town in the south, I would say majority of our public school teachers are Christian individuals, however they aren’t technically allowed to teach students through Scripture, but through worldly views. Teaching every book of the bible also stuck with me as an administrator and inspired me to take another look at our current curriculum and how well it accomplished this task.

Like God teaches us, always be ready to have an answer for those who inquire. As we stidy the Scriptures, God’s Spirit teaches us “all things.” And as we are taught, so we reach out and share the food – the body and blood of Christ – with other believers. God’s children who He is awakening and drawing also benefit from this, as seeds are planted and watered. Jesus is the Truth, and as we share Him with those under our care, we know His Word will not “return void” but will accomplish His purposes.

Often students ask about some science related questions on how things work the way they do. As they are fascinated by the mechanisms of science, I always point them towards our amazing creator God and how He set everything in place.
