What are some ways you can apply the concepts learned in this lesson in your classroom?

I can use the concept of that Gods word and his ways are the true way to live. Giving firm rules and guidance ti my students will help them learn and understand how to live in a godly way. I can also have patience and peace with my students when they do make mistakes as Jesus did. Also, using all of scripture as a way to teach and guide my students.

God’s Word alone has the answers of life. We can seek Him for meaning and understanding of His creation. We can seek Him to help us better understand the concepts of the class, we can seek Him to help us learn the concepts. We can seek Him to help us memorize the information. Seeking the Father of Knowledge on how to store and access knowledge in our lives, can greatly help us in learning. God cares about you learning and doing well in school. Your wellbeing matters to Him.

First we must be centered on the Scriptures and allow them to be central in our lives. We have to demonstrate Scriptural practices each day as a living curriculum for our students. We must remember that Scripture is for reproof and correction, spoken graciously in love. We must hold forth Scripture as truth that is profitable for all situations in life.

I think it is so important for us as Christians to be aware of the influences of our modern culture on our students. I recently attended a women’s conference at my church with Natasha Crain and she was presenting the current statistics of how many of our young people are leaving their Christian faith, earlier and earlier than ever before. We must not be watered down Christians who adopt the ideology of tolerance and act like we are o.k. with this. When we have opportunities, we must weave in scripture to support our academic subjects because without doing so, we are only teaching from the world’s perspective and not God’s authority.

Be less harsh with corrections, and try (even when I am low on patience) to redirect with encouragement.
