What are some ways you can apply the concepts learned in this lesson in your classroom?

Certainly I could bring more scripture into the classroom and my talk. We are encouraged to pray at the beginning of the course and sometimes I will incorporate a verse or two.
I do stress the values of right behavior and honesty (living as obedient children of God) as we learn. Some of the Ten Commandments are used to reinforce this. As for what I can do to apply these concepts, I believe I should spent even more time myself in Scripture and in pray for the sake of myself and my students. -
As a Christian educator, the Scriptures are certainly should be at the heart of any lesson I teach. My lessons should begin with the Word and all else revolves around it. It is my goal that the relevance and centrality of Scripture in anything I teach should be evident and presented from the start. Because of this, one of the best ways I believe I can apply the concepts of the centrality of Scripture is by first identifying, studying analyzing, organizing, and aligning my own beliefs with the truths stated in the Bible prior to teaching a lesson. As a science teacher who has been educated under secular theory, I admittedly sometimes find this a bit challenging to world beliefs, but this is where my belief and faith in the truth of Scripture guides me.

There’s a verse in Proverbs 12:1 that says “Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but he who hates reproof is stupid.” and another verse in Proverbs 19:20 states “Listen to advice and accept instruction,
that you may gain wisdom in the future.” These two verses can be used with my students to remind them that part of gaining wisdom and knowledge is accepting correction. I have my students think back at what they did wrong and what they could have done differently to correct it so if it happens again in the future, they already have a plan to change the outcome of their behavior. -
Where she quotes the passage in scripture that states “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness.” I want to apply this verse for when I need to correct a student behaviorally or academically that I can lead them back to scripture in the conversation and that they understand the reason behind learning and listening, as well as behaving in a Christ-like way.
