What are some ways you can apply the concepts learned in this lesson in your classroom?

I have a plethora of Bibles in my library. I can encourage my students to read them when they have questions and research papers. It’s a trustworthy source.

Keeping scripture in the classroom is part of my daily routine. I put a new encouraging Bible verse on the board every day. The students enjoy seeing what the day’s verse is and it sets the right tone for a new day. Also, turning to Scripture when a day isn’t going well and the students are struggling can help alleviate any feelings of turmoil they may be experiencing.

Scripture is where we find the truth. It is written to guide us and protect us and heal us. I will continue to use all that I am learning to impact my own life and the lives of my students and their families.

There are relevant scriptures posted on the walls of my media center.

So many students are bombarded with attacks on the Bible. Some are told that there are contradictions, or that there are human institutions that can interpret it perfectly. It matters that students are taught to compare all teaching and doctrine to the written Word of God. In all that they learn, it must be measured by God’s Word.
