I appreciate the emphasis on covering every book of the Bible in academics. All books of the Bible are important and have lesson that can be gleaned from their contents. Finding creative ways to incorporate scripture in every lesson, allows students to see that scripture is everywhere. God’s truth is everywhere and can be seen in all things.

I love the reminder to cover every book in the Bible. How can I say that some of God’s words are more important than others? What does it say to my students when I teach around a passage instead of actually reading it course. I want students to know it instead of knowing about it.

We can expose students to Scripture more often in our classrooms (read it aloud, memorize it, study it, etc.). We can make arguments based primarily on Scripture. We can help the students to wrestle with issues where Scripture may not be very clear by starting with the Biblical principles we do know.

This lesson discussed how learning scripture is important. Jesus knew scripture and used his knowledge to correct people. Teaching children to have a understanding of scripture through memorization and integration into daily learning is essential.
