What are some ways you can apply the concepts learned in this lesson in your classroom?

We have to teach students that truth is important. We do not tolerate each other. With that said, we also need to teach our children that truth is not judgment. Truth is not harsh, but kind and loving. We need to demonstrate that in the classroom and be an example through how we correct and speak truth.

I would explain the importance of memorizing Scripture because the the Bible promises us that The Holy Spirit will bring these truths back to us as He guides through life.

I attempt to connect every lesson in some way to their identity in Christ. Who they are. How does God’s word speak to them and this lesson?

I would explain how to use the scripture throughout life. I would show examples by always using scripture for multiple subjects. Also, I would set an example of myself by always doing that in course. We would memorize scriptures and discuss there meaning and how we could use them.

This question is twofold. As a teacher by modeling what the scriptures say when a situation comes up during course time. As a student/child learning to implement scriptures when they encounter a situation in course or a home experience they would like to address. This allows them to see that they can use God’s word at any age and His word is still applicable for today.
