As Christian educators, we have a responsibility to teach and guide our students in both scripture and academics. The instructions from Paul to Timothy clearly outline the weight of this and it can be applied in how we go about teaching. By letting this scriptures be a guide, we fulfill this calling.

By teaching students through scripture with truth and not just tolerating everything because they’re young or they don’t know or whatever other reason. Lovingly educating them on what Scripture says is correct so that they may be formed and led in the right direction.

I can quote from the Bible examples as proof to help students understand that the word of god is the ultimate truth and that it is very important to learn from the word of God to lead a righteous life. When we learn from the word of God we learn how to correct our life and do the right thing all the time.

During Bible hour I have my students use their bibles to read the day’s scriptures. Explain the scripture as we go along and answer questions if they don’t understand by using other scriptures as support.
