Just as scripture says in 2 Timothy 3, it is important to apply instruction, correction, and reproof. Reminding students rules of the classroom and not bending them and to always stay respectful.

Ensuring to teach each book of the bible. Provide correction in a loving way.

I need to take on more responsibility, not to be tolerant but to build that belief system without fear and with love.

I would like to be more intentional about quoting Scripture and bringing Biblical truths into my class, especially as it relates to Social Studies and the ancient and medieval civilizations that we are learning about. Specifically, a few areas I would like to bring Scripture in are: the events leading up to the Protestant Reformation, the Hebrews’ journey and enslavement, polytheism in Egypt and beyond, and the philosophy of humanism leading to the Renaissance.

Well, I teach OT Survey and Bible Doctrine to 9th and 10th graders. It’s important that I convey to them the truth contained in 2 Timothy 3:14-16. Reminding them that open rebuke is better than secret love. Sharing with them the importance of acknowledging God in ALL of our ways.
