I am very intrigued by the thought of how to incorporate all 66 books within my curriculum framework. I look forward to exploring this further.

I WILL LOOK FOR DIFFERENT WAYS TO INCORPORATE SCRIPTURE INTO MY CURRICULIUM.

Because I am a Bible teacher, applying these concepts is much easier! One statement stood out, however: that we need to teach all 66 books of the Bible, learning from the whole counsel of God. This actually requires more effort on the part of educators to be biblically literate on the whole Bible, not just on our favorite verses and books.

I do not teach a Bible class, but I can be more intentional about incorporating Scripture into the lessons. I also can make sure that my correction or reproof is meted out in a firm but loving way. Students need to know and even crave the boundaries.

When tough questions come up in my classroom, I can point my students back to scripture. I have my students memorize scripture weekly, but it is also important to dive into the meaning of the scripture that they read and memorize. Through each history and science lesson, I can use scripture to show how God has worked in the past and how he continues to work today. I can help my students use God’s word to help work through interpersonal conflict and tough situations.
