Could you look at the events of our times and discuss what type of worldview those in the news were demonstrating? As cliché’ as it sounds, it’s still important to consider “what would Jesus do.” Spend time with your student at times other than instructing, over coffee, over a meal, or after classroom hours – be available to them to help answer their questions using God’s Word.

Oddly enough, it’s in the study hall with my students (and not in my actual class) that they ask me questions about “life” and I have the opportunity to share a biblical worldview truth and God’s word with them. High school students, especially, are eager to hear it. They will all stop doing whatever it is they’re doing to hear my conversation with one student. Without the relationships I’ve built with these students, however, they wouldn’t feel comfortable asking me my “opinion”
