What are some ways you can help pass on a biblical worldview to your students?

I think one of the biggest ways you can help pass on a biblical world view is through putting action into what you say. Our students will listen to us but what hits home to them is when they see you also doing what you say and tell them to do. It’s setting that example and giving them not only words to follow but an example of how those words get put into action.

We can apply scripture, pray, worship, give testimonies, and perform acts of service throughout our days. It is powerful when we pray for others and learn the impact of those prayers. Our corporate and personal worship and praise draws us closer to God, the one who is worthy of all praise. Christ certainly set the example as he gave up his throne and laid down his life for each of us, therefore we look for opportunities for students to help others.

One way in which I hope to pass on a Biblical worldview is to treat the Word with the respect it deserves. I trust God to do His work but I ensure my students understand Church history and their place in it.

1. Demonstrate enthusiasm when talking about what the Bible says.
2. Encourage Scripture memorization
3. Encourage students to look and be thankful for ways that God works in their everyday lives
4. Consistently remind them that God is still in control despite any negativity they may see happening in their communities and the world.
