One way to help is to integrate God’s word, His character into every subject. They can see God’s character in math because math is logical and consistent. They can see God is science- observing and learning about what He has created. They can see God is art and learning to appreciate beauty. It must be all of life discussions not just during Bible lesson time.

We make connections to things as they come up in course. As a Bible Teacher we deal with current events and whats going on in the world a great deal, and connecting those things to a Biblical worldview is one of the ways we are engaging our students minds and souls. I want them to see that the Biblical worldview is the most consistent and clear worldview that exists; it makes the best argument for why our world in the state it is in, and provides the most consistent belief system out there.

I can make connections from my subject matter with the Bible. I can facilitate an environment, both inside and outside of the classroom, where students can feel comfortable to ask me questions about the Scriptures and discuss meaningful topics regarding Christ and faith.

I can do this by integrating scripture and modeling Christ-like behavior throughout the school day (and in every day life). I can also have students analyze things from a biblical perspective (What does the Bible say about this?) and have discussions with them about it.

I started each course this year with a scripture of the day. Some days I would talk about what the scripture meant to me, sometimes I would ask students for their impressions. This brought the scriptures to life as we started a lesson. Ore times than I can count I would say, “wow, I really needed that today,” and we would talk about how God’s word could ground us when we were struggling or stressed, or nervous, our just hungry for that connection.
