Help students understand the concept of having a worldview and why this matters for how they will live. Could you look at the events of our times and discuss what type of worldview those in the news were demonstrating? As cliché’ as it sounds, it’s still important to consider “what would Jesus do.” Spend time with your student at times other than instructing, over coffee, over a meal, or after classroom hours – be available to them to help answer their questions using God’s Word.

Passing down a biblical worldview to my students is something I work on everyday by building relationships and trust with my students. Oddly enough, it’s in the study hall with my students (and not in my actual class) that they ask me questions about “life” and I have the opportunity to share a biblical worldview truth and God’s word with them. High school students, especially, are eager to hear it. They will all stop doing whatever it is they’re doing to hear my conversation with one student. Without the relationships I’ve built with these students, however, they wouldn’t feel comfortable asking me my “opinion”

Sharing life testimonies when led to and giving biblical examples of life circumstances can help pass on biblical worldviews to students.

Wisely sharing the word of God through storytelling, engaging them in a biblical worldview during group activities in a lesson, and above all, asking the Holy Spirit to help me so that I may guide the students in the best way.

Praying to God for direction and a solution, being thankful to God for everything, showing love through deeds, and always making reference to what God will feel about my actions.
