What are some ways you can help pass on a biblical worldview to your students?

A biblical worldview can be intertwined into education. Using verses to relate a science lesson, reading and memorizing scripture, and more. Having been raised in a Christian school, I still use the verses I memorized in my daily life. Songs, verses and daily interactions with the Bible continually resonate with me still today.

Have the students learn Scripture. They need to learn and understand it in context. If they fail to to understand the meaning of it they will apply it wrong to their culture. Memorizing and understanding it with proper hermeneutics is one way to pass it on to the students.

Two main ways that I can help pass on a biblical worldview to my students are to teach the contents of a biblical worldview and to live the contents of that worldview.
First, I have a responsibility to teach them Scripture. They will learn facts about who God is, who Jesus is, what salvation is, what the church is, etc. This is a great opportunity for them to be introduced to the truths of God’s Word.
Second, I can model for my students what it looks like to live a life submitted to God. Someone with a true biblical worldview is one that acknowledges their sinful condition, repents, and lives daily abiding in Jesus. Living that example will be a powerful method of passing on that worldview to others.

I can help pass on a biblical worldview by being open about my faith to my students, having discussions about scripture and the meaning of the verses we memorize. I can show my worldview through my words and actions.

Some of the ways I can teach the students a biblical worldview is by teaching them scriptures from the Bible and relating it to the History book we used in course.
