A few ways I can help pass on biblical worldview to my students is by praying before class starts, posting a bible verse in Google classroom and taking a few minutes to have students reflect in a warmup exercise before teaching lessons, by creating an assignment to memorize scriptures on a weekly basis.

In our classes we always emphasize the portions of the lesson which referred to God’s design for creation and human’s part in it, to have dominion.

Discussions that lead back to God’s Word. Students want to learn and hear thoughts but they also want to see proof for how we came to a conclusion.

Identifying what a biblical worldview is from the beginning is important. Unless they know there are differing worldview vying for their attention, they will not be cognizant of how they are truly seeing the world and the information being thrown at them. After identifying the ways in which we can see the world around us, I use scripture to back up the lessons I teach. Pointing out in Genesis how God created man perfectly as we learn how He designed the systems of the body in science or how God orchestrated the past according the the prophesies in His word in history.

Gratitude. I try to model gratitude and give thanks in everything we do. When we are putting on our coats–thank you, God for my coat; when we are using scissors–thank you, God for my hands; when we observe the weather each morning–thank you, God for the warm sunshine.
