Model a biblical worldview as a living curriculum, demonstrating how worldview informs actions, behavior, opinions, and especially, treatment of each other.

I did not come to know Christ until I was 21 years old. Because of this, I have a unique perspective to reminder my “B.C” self and to recall how wretched I was as a very selfish and uncaring person. Now that I am a believer in Jesus, I have been transformed in heart, mind, and actions to love God and love others. I remind students of who we are without Christ and how transformed we become when we accept him. I think it’s important to be ready to share our personal testimony with students so that they can be encouraged.

I like to stress the importance of prayer. When they are stressed or experiencing anxiety which my grade level often does, I remind them to pray over things and “give it to God”. I also make sure to put things into terms they can relate to during bible class, and help them see the differences between popular behaviors and how Jesus has taught and encouraged us to live.

Prayer. Including prayer in class refers back to Jesus. The only way to acquire a biblical worldview is constant communication with God.

A few ways I can help pass on biblical worldview to my students is by praying before class starts, posting a bible verse in Google classroom and taking a few minutes to have students reflect in a warmup exercise before teaching lessons, by creating an assignment to memorize scriptures on a weekly basis.
