“And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile, and you are still in your sins.” In other words, there is no hope for us if Christ was not resurrected.

Then he would not have been the messiah. He would have been a false prophet.

The implications would be detrimental to our past, present and future. Our forefathers would have died in vain holding onto a belief of a resurrected savior. Our faith and belief in redemption would be also in vain and our hope for a future in Heaven with Him would also be futile. In the book of Acts Paul’s (Saul) encounter with Jesus while he was on the road to Damascus and while he was deeply involved in persecuting the Christians is one fact that also points to the risen Christ. Acts 9: vs 4-8. Paul asked “who are you Lord?” and the reply was “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting”. The I AM in this case also reminds me of the I AM that I AM in Exodus 3:14.

If Jesus did not rise then we have no comforter as He promised and our prayers are in vain (John 16:7)..

If Christ did not rise from the dead, then we are still dead in our sins. We are not reconciled unto God and there is no way for us to go to heaven. All hope is lost.

According to the apostle Paul, if Jesus did not rise, the Christian faith would be useless and the followers of Jesus would collapse. One more important thing is that it is wrong with God’s word about the resurrection of Jesus
