What Bible translation do you use and why? Do you use a different translation or paraphrase for devotional reading than you do for Bible study?

I use the NIV translation at church usually, but also have an ESV translation I use frequently. My study bible is an NLT.

I normally use a NIV for everything and sometimes use the Amp. Translation when I want a deeper understanding.

I have both the Scriptures and a Chronological Study Bible. The CSB is what I use for my daily study and the ISR is what I use for this class and for church as it is easier to find books in it than the CSB. I like the ISR because it has a lot of the original Hebrew wording, and I like the CSB because it shows the order that the Bible takes place.

I use the NIV and CSB but more of the CSB. I use these because of being a newbie, I found that they are easier to translate. I do use other Bible translation for Bible study. I will go onto the apps I have or websites and see the difference. I use the CSB for this course and other courses.

I use ESV for my daily reading, NIV for my study Bible and sometimes I will use other translations to better understand scripture.
