I mostly use KJV for devotional reading because I feel it is the most accurate English translation. I often use NIV or Amplified while studying.

I used the NIV most often for bible reading, since it was recommended by my church leaders. I also used Nelson’s New Illustrated Bible Dictionary for bible study. I will continue using the NIV translation to this course.

I have used different translations for what went with the one being specifically asked for or the one used as the pew Bible in the church. I like the amplified bible because it is supposed to be a very good word-for-word translation of the original text. I have both the NIV and Holman bibles.

I use the NIV, as it seems to be closest to English of today, but trying to be accurate to the original meaning.

CSB and NLT, I will probably use CSB because I like the interpretation
