The credence given to Christian accounts of spectacular conversions and heroic missionaries can vary. While these stories can inspire faith, they may also be exaggerated over time. It’s important to consider their historical context.
These accounts might challenge the belief that God only works through big events. They show that He also acts through ordinary people and situations.
I believe God works through both spectacular and ordinary conversions. Big events can grab attention, but everyday acts of kindness and faith often lead to lasting change. In my experience, quiet perseverance and small actions can make a significant impact in individuals and communities.

I never put God in a box. He is capable of far more than we can ever imagine. I believe God works through both spectacular and ordinary conversions all the time.

I believe that Cheryl and Gail and Darlene have said what I would say! God is the one true, living God and His ways are not our ways. He is supernatural and he will take our natural and add his super to it, for anyone who will trust and obey His leading. All men are ordinary men, simply made extraordinary by the power of God working in and through them. He is the same, yesterday, today, and forever!

A great deal of credence can be given to Christian accounts of spectacular conversions especially if there is the change in the convert that makes a difference in their life over time. It seems when the Gospel first is brought to a new region, a miracle gets people’s attention. There are stories coming out of the middle east right now that tells of the conversion of people through dreams and visions. That makes sense to me. God works through both ordinary and spectacular conversions the same as he works through te “big name preacher and the ordinary person.
