I try to prayer and read a verse or a chapter of the bible, I love the word of God, often I feel that I spend more time with God then anyone else.

I’ve been journaling throughout the years, either traditional or e-notes. I’ve been doing it every morning as soon as I wake up. But getting to learn from this lesson, I know I am lacking in reflecting throughout the day about what I read and wrote in the morning and having to ask reflective questions to myself at night about my applications and what God is actually speaking to me on a daily basis.

I get up early in the morning to pray, read God’s word, and walk for forty minutes. I spend praising God and being quiet to listen to God. I plan on the future to keep a prayer journal and pray to God about the reading.

I used to listen some christian musics, read my Bible and pray every morning. I would like to work on a new way to do my devotion time in the future. I think the first method was a good, but I want to add something. I plan to get a journal that can help me write down some notes about what I have learned from my personnal devotion.

I believe prayer and bible reading go hand in hand. Prayer prepares your mind and heart for receiving the word of God. Bible study teaches us how to pray effectively. I’ve found both are blessed.
