I have used journaling in the past and found that to be a great tool in reflecting back on the goodness of God in my life. I would like to use more devotionals that read God’s word then gives everyday life application to it in commentary. I find it easier to write out my prayers and make notes in my Bible Study time. I find it helpful to read different versions of God’s word as a tool in enhancing my understanding as well. I love my one on one conversations to God about what I’ve read and I ask Holy Spirit how to apply what I read into my life.

I read the Bible, I use 9 devotional apps, I have about 25 verses or devotional affirmations I repeat daily and good old fashioned down on my knees praying.

As far as I can remember, we as a family have been using the ‘Our Daily Bread’ English devotional for family prayer. Personally, I read the ‘Hindi’ one too as it gives me a different perspective of the Word. I also started out reading a chapter a day, then 2 and now 4 a day systematically from Genesis to Revelation and by God’s grace have completed reading the whole Bible at least 7 times. Recently, I have been reading diverse versions of the Bible, that are topic-specific. E.g. The Praise & Worship Bible (TLB). These have helped me gain insight into how Scripture surpasses notion of time and continues to be culturally relevant and can be practically applied to our day-to-day lives with specific instances straight from the Word.

I started journaling not long time ago, still trying to get use to it. I usually and still listening to morning devo from YOUVERSION daily verse, also started the verse by verse reading and listening to the commentary or summary from TTW app. I would like to see more journaling devo and dive deeper devo and praying through scripture devo.

I typically compare different versions of the bible, listen to different commentators and then write a summation of what I glean.
